Tackle Profiles
Tackle profiles overview
A tackle profile saves your complete rod and rig setup so you can select it at the start of any session without re-entering everything from scratch.
To create a tackle profile
- Go to Profile → App Settings → Tackle Profiles
- Tap + New Profile
- Enter a name (e.g. "Single Hook Boilie Rod", "Zig Rig Left Rod")
- Select the Tackle type (see options below)
- Fill in the details relevant to that setup
- Tap Save
Specimen tackle types
- Rod — general specimen rod setup
- Lure Rod — for lure and spin fishing (see Lure & spin profiles)
- Float Rod — float-based specimen approach
Grouping profiles
Profiles can be organised into groups (e.g. "Main Lake Rigs", "River Setups"). Tap + New Group on the Tackle Profiles screen to create one, then assign profiles to it.
Using a profile in a session
When starting a session, each rod slot prompts you to select a profile. You can also change a profile mid-session from the rod roost.
