Leagues
Leagues
Leagues are ongoing competitions between a group of anglers across multiple rounds. Each round is a defined period (e.g. a month) in which everyone fishes and their results are scored.
Creating a league
- Go to Social → Leagues → + New League
- Give the league a name and description
- Set the scoring format:
- Total weight — Heaviest cumulative weight over all rounds wins
- Points — Points awarded per round based on position (1st = most points, etc.)
- Add members (from your friends list)
- Tap Create League
Rounds
Each league has rounds. A round has a start date, end date, and name (e.g. "April Round"). Sessions fished within the round dates count toward that round's leaderboard. Round windows use UK time (Europe/London) — a session counts toward a round if its start time falls inside the round window.
Leaderboard
The league leaderboard updates live as members end sessions. It shows each angler's position, their score for the current round, and their cumulative total.
Notifications
- When a new round begins, all members are notified
- When a round closes, results are sent to all members
- If your position in the round leaderboard changes — up or down — you receive an overtake notification
Leaving a league
Open the league, tap the three-dot menu (⋮), and select Leave League. Your historical results within the league remain in past round leaderboards but you'll no longer be included in future rounds. You can be re-added later by the league creator if you change your mind.
Deleting a league
Only the league creator can delete a league. Deleting it removes the leaderboard and league record for all members but does not delete anyone's underlying sessions or catches — those stay in each member's personal history.
Viewing a league
Open the league from the Social tab or from the Match Record widget on the home screen. You can see the current leaderboard, all past round results, and each member's session history within the league.
