Adding friends
The social features in CatchMate Coarse are built around friends — anglers you follow whose results, PBs, and sessions you can see.
To find and add a friend
- Open the Social tab (from the bottom navigation, or wherever you've placed it via Customise the navigation bar)
- Tap Find Friends or the search icon
- Type a username — search results appear as you type
- Tap Add Friend on their profile card
Accepting a friend request
When someone adds you, you receive a notification and a badge appears on the Social tab. Go to Social → Friend Requests to accept or decline.
Viewing a friend's profile
Tap any friend's name or avatar to open their profile. You can see:
- Their recent sessions (if they've made them visible)
- Their personal bests
- Their total catch stats
- Options to challenge them to a match or compare season stats
Removing a friend
Open their profile and tap Remove Friend. They won't be notified.
