The social feed
The Social tab shows a feed of recent activity from your friends — sessions they've logged, PBs they've set, and posts they've shared.
Feed posts
- Session posts — Automatically created when a friend ends a session (optional, based on their privacy settings)
- Manual posts — Friends can share a catch photo or message to the feed
- PB announcements — When a friend sets a new personal best, it appears in the feed
Reacting and commenting
Tap the reaction icons (👍 ❤️ 🔥 etc.) on any post to react. Tap the speech bubble to leave a comment.
Refreshing the feed
The feed updates automatically when you receive a relevant notification. You can also pull down on the feed to refresh manually at any time.
Reporting a post
If a post breaks the community rules, tap the ⋮ menu on that post and choose Report. Reports go to the CatchMate team and are reviewed before any action is taken; the original poster is not told who reported them.
Unread badge
The Social tab icon shows a badge count for unread friend requests and pending match challenges. This clears when you open the Social tab.
