CatchMate automatically tracks your personal best (heaviest fish) for every species you've recorded.
Where to find PBs
- Go to Profile — your PBs are listed by species in the Stats section
- Each PB shows the weight (in lb/oz or kg/g, matching your unit setting), the date caught, and the venue
How PBs are calculated
Every catch you log is compared against your existing PB for that species. If it's heavier, it automatically becomes your new PB. Historical sessions you've added are also included. PBs are calculated from all your sessions — if you ran any test or dummy sessions while learning the app, delete them so they don't contaminate your records.
PB notifications
When you set a new PB during a live session, a gold banner appears on screen. Friends who have notifications enabled will receive a push notification about your new PB.
PBs on your public profile
Your top PBs are visible on your public profile, which friends can view from the Social tab.
