Getting Started Card

The three steps can be completed in any order — the card stays on your home screen until all three are ticked or you dismiss it manually.

Step 1 — Set your username

Tap Set now to go to App Settings. Choose a unique username — this is how friends will find and recognise you in the app.

Step 2 — Create a tackle profile

Tap Create to go to Tackle Profiles. A tackle profile saves your rod, rig, and hook setup so you don't have to type it in every time you start a session. You can create multiple profiles for different methods (pole, feeder, waggler, etc.).

Step 3 — Log your first session

Tap Start session to open the new session screen. Fill in the venue name and tap Start — you're ready to fish.

Dismissing the card

Once all three steps are ticked, the card disappears permanently. You can also dismiss it early by tapping the ✕ or I'll set this up later — it won't come back.
