Creating your account

We are currently accepting registrations by invitation only while we progress through our research and development phase.

Once registered, your account works seamlessly across all devices — mobile, tablet, laptop, or desktop — anywhere you have access to a web browser.

To register

1. Open the app at coarse.catchmate.fish in your phone's browser
2. Tap Register here on the sign-in screen
3. Enter your name, email address, and a password
4. Tap Create Account — you're in immediately, no email verification required

Signing in on another device

Simply visit coarse.catchmate.fish and enter your email and password. All your data is stored in the cloud and loads automatically.

Setting a username

Your username is used for the social features — friends can search for you by username, and it appears on your public profile and leaderboards. Go to Profile → App Settings → Account and enter a username. It must be unique across all CatchMate users.

Forgot your password?

Tap Forgot your password? on the sign-in screen, enter your email address, and a reset link will be sent to you.

Two-factor authentication (2FA)

For extra security you can enable authenticator-based 2FA from Profile → App Settings → Account → Two-Factor Authentication. You'll need an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Authy. Once enabled, you'll enter a 6-digit code each time you sign in, in addition to your password.
