Intelligence & Analytics

Weather Intelligence

Weather Intelligence analyses your session history to reveal which weather conditions produce the best catch rates on your waters — the more sessions you log, the more accurate it becomes.

Accessing Weather Intelligence

Go to Analytics from the home screen, then scroll to the Weather Intelligence section.

What it shows

  • Your Sweet Spot — a summary of the single combination of conditions (sky, temperature, wind, pressure) where your catch rate is highest
  • Sky Conditions — catch rate by weather type (Rain, Overcast, Mainly Clear, Clear Sky, etc.)
  • Temperature — catch rate across temperature bands (Under 5°C, 5–10°C, 10–15°C, 15–20°C, 20°C+)
  • Wind Speed — catch rate at Calm (0–10 mph), Moderate (11–20 mph), and Strong (21+ mph)
  • Wind Direction — catch rate by compass direction (N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW)
  • Pressure — catch rate at Low (<1000 hPa), Normal (1000–1020 hPa), and High (>1020 hPa)
  • Pressure Trend — catch rate when pressure is Rising, Stable, or Falling

Metrics

Switch between Catch Rate (fish/hour), Avg Weight, Best Fish, and Sessions using the metric selector.

How weather data is captured

Weather is recorded automatically at the end of each session, using the postcode of your saved venue. No manual entry is needed. Sessions at venues without a postcode will not contribute weather data.

Discipline filtering

Weather Intelligence only uses sessions logged under the Specimen discipline. Coarse sessions are not included.
