Ending a session & AI debrief
When you're ready to pack up, tap End Session to see a summary, trigger the AI debrief, and capture weather data for your analytics.
Session summary
You'll see a summary of the session — total time on the bank, fish caught, total weight, catch rate, and a breakdown by rod/rig.
AI debrief
After ending, CatchMate generates an AI debrief for the session. This reviews your catches, conditions, and tackle to highlight:
- What worked best (bait, rod, time of day)
- How this session compares to your recent form
- Any patterns worth noting for your next visit
The debrief is saved with the session and can be viewed at any time from Session History.
Weather capture
If your venue has a postcode saved, weather data (temperature, wind speed, direction, pressure, sky condition) is captured automatically at session end. This feeds the Weather Intelligence analytics over time.
Session History
All ended sessions appear in Session History, accessible from the home screen. Tap any session to view the full catch log, timeline, AI debrief, and weather data.
