Getting started with Social
The Social tab is your hub for friends, competitions, and leagues — connect with other anglers and share your fishing milestones.
What the Social tab contains
The Social tab brings together everything to do with other anglers in one place:
- Your friends list and friend requests
- A feed of activity from you and your friends
- Entry points to Competitions and Leagues
Adding friends
- Tap the Add Friend button on the Social tab
- Search by username
- Send a friend request — once they accept, they appear in your friends list
The feed
The feed shows posts when you or your friends:
- End a session
- Set a new personal best
You can react and comment on any post in the feed.
Competitions and Leagues
Once you have friends on CatchMate, the Social tab is your starting point for creating or joining competitions and leagues. See the related articles below for details on how each works.
