Competitions — challenge friends and compare sessions
A competition is a head-to-head challenge where both anglers link a session and the result is decided by weight, catches, or species.
Creating a competition
- Go to the Social tab and tap Competitions
- Tap New Competition
- Pick a friend from your friends list — or add a bot opponent if you want to practise without a real opponent
- Set the scoring method: heaviest weight, most catches, or most species
- Optionally set a rod limit — sessions with more rods than the limit will be rejected when linking
- Tap Create
Linking a session
Once a competition is created, both anglers need to link a session:
- Open the competition from the Competitions list
- Tap Link Session
- Pick a past or currently active session
Finalising the result
Once both anglers have linked a session, the creator can tap Finalise to lock in the result. The result cannot be changed after finalising.
Leaderboard
The competition result screen shows a full species breakdown and individual catch weights for both anglers.
Multi-angler competitions
Competitions can include more than two participants — the process is the same. Each participant links one session; the creator finalises when all sessions are in.
Bot opponents
A bot opponent generates a simulated result — useful for solo practice or testing. Bots are clearly labelled in the result.
