Sharing your PB certificate
Every new personal best generates a shareable certificate — a polished graphic showing the species, weight, venue, date, and your name.
Generating a certificate
When CatchMate detects a new PB during a session, the celebration screen includes a Generate Certificate button. Tap it to create the certificate immediately.
You can also generate a certificate at any time from Profile → Personal Bests — tap any PB record and select Generate Certificate.
What's on the certificate
- Species name and PB weight
- Venue name and date
- Your CatchMate username
- CatchMate branding
Sharing the certificate
Tap Share on the certificate screen. This opens your phone's native share sheet — you can send it via WhatsApp, Instagram, iMessage, or save it to your camera roll.
Sharing a session catch
Individual catches (not just PBs) can also be shared from the catch detail screen. These generate a public share page at app.catchmate.fish/share/[token] that anyone can view without signing in.
