Session Photos

Add session photos

1. Open the session and find the Session Photos section.
2. Select Choose photos and pick one or more images from your device.
3. Add an optional caption for each selected image. Captions can be up to 240 characters.
4. Select Upload photos.

Select several session photos and add optional captions before uploading.

CatchMate saves the selected pictures to that session's private gallery. If some uploads fail, the photos that did not save remain selected so you can try again.

View and manage the gallery

Browse the private photo gallery attached to this session.

Tap a thumbnail to open a photo. When a session has more than one photo, use Previous photo and Next photo to move through them; close the viewer to return to the gallery. A saved caption appears with its photo.

To change a caption, select its pencil button in the gallery or choose Edit caption in the viewer. Update the text and save it. Clear the caption and save if you want to remove it.

To remove a session photo, select its trash button and confirm the browser prompt. This removes that picture from this session; it does not delete the session.

Keep photo types separate

• Session photos belong to the session and are private to its signed-in owner. They are not public share links and do not appear in the catch Photo Gallery.
• Catch photos belong to an individual fish record. They can appear in the catch Photo Gallery and use the catch-sharing tools. See Photo Gallery.
• Venue and swim photos document a place, peg or swim and may include map, depth or annotation information. They are managed separately from the Session Photos gallery. See Mapping swim photos.
