Intelligence & Analytics

Analytics turns your saved fishing sessions into summaries, comparisons and evidence you can open and review. Choose Analytics from the home screen or navigation, then select Coarse or Specimen in the discipline control.

Filters

Use the controls at the top of Analytics to set:

• Period: 3M, 6M, 1Y or All time.
• Session source: All sessions, Live or Historical.
• Water type: All or one of the available water types.
• Discipline: Coarse or Specimen.

Set the Analytics period, source and water type before reviewing results.

The selected period, source, water type and discipline apply across Analytics. Some views also have their own controls. Catch-rate trend can be narrowed to a venue or species. Personal pattern explorer can group results by venue, species, weather conditions, water temperature, bait, tackle or fishing depth, and add filters for the selected groups.

Analytics destinations

Use the Analytics navigation to move between:

• Overview — session and catch summaries, monthly activity, catch-rate trend, species mix, water types, venue performance and seasonal patterns.
• Personal pattern explorer — compare personal patterns, review supporting catches and sessions, and reuse a useful pattern when creating a preset.
• Weather and solunar — explore weather conditions, conditions at catch, solunar patterns and weather-and-tactics comparisons.
• Casting, tackle and bait — review cast results, tackle breakdowns and bait performance.
• Depth and rod analysis — review fishing-depth, swim-depth and rod-configuration information.
• Catch Patterns — open the separate Catch Patterns analysis.

Compare a personal pattern with its recorded exposure and supporting sessions.

The sections visible on your screen can depend on Analytics settings, the layout you have chosen and which data is available.

Reading the comparisons

Catch counts show recorded fish; they are not the same as fishing exposure. Check the number of sessions and, where displayed, timed fishing hours alongside a catch rate. Efficiency comparisons use completed sessions with a positive recorded duration. Zero-catch sessions remain part of timed exposure, so a catch rate is not just a count of successful sessions.

Personal pattern and weather comparisons describe associations in your logged results. They do not prove that a venue, condition, bait, tackle choice or tactic caused a catch. Some comparisons need weather, water-temperature, weight or timed-duration records; the screen identifies when evidence is limited. Where available, open the linked supporting session or catch to review the original record.

Weights use the unit selected in Profile → App Settings → Weight Units.

Exporting data

The Export menu in the Analytics header offers Catches CSV and Sessions CSV. These are full data exports; they are not narrowed to the filters currently shown in Analytics.

Personal pattern explorer also has Export selection. It exports the sessions matching that explorer's current period, source, water type, discipline, outcome and group filters.
