Venues
Drawing venue maps
Venue maps let you draw a plan of a fishery — marking pegs, features, margins, and other useful reference points. Maps are saved to the venue and can be shared with friends.
To create a map
- Go to Venues and open a venue
- Tap View Map
- Once the map is open you have the following options:
- View — View the map and move around the venue on the map
- Pin — Add pins for Pegs, Depth, Feature, Substrate & Fish
- Line — Draw a line to mark a bank, river, canal, or path between points
- Delete — Select any mapping points you have added to remove them
Drawing tools
- Pins — Drop a pin to mark a specific point (peg, snag, island, etc.). Each pin has a label and can be colour-coded.
- Lines — Draw a line to mark a bank, river, canal, or path between points. Useful for showing the shape of the water or marking casting distances.
Receiving a map from a friend
If a friend has shared a map with you, you can view it from their profile in the Social section. Maps are a useful way to share peg knowledge within your fishing group.
Sharing your own map
The flow for sharing one of your own maps with a specific friend is rolling out — until that lands, you can view maps shared to you from any friend's profile. We'll update this article the moment the share-from-your-side flow is live.
