Installing CatchMate on your phone
CatchMate is a Progressive Web App — it runs in your browser but can be installed on your home screen so it feels and behaves like a native app, including offline support for active sessions.
iPhone / Safari
- Open app.catchmate.fish in Safari
- Tap the Share button (box with arrow at the bottom)
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen
- Tap Add — the app icon appears on your home screen
Android / Chrome
- Open app.catchmate.fish in Chrome
- Tap the three-dot menu (top right)
- Tap Add to Home Screen or Install App
- Tap Install
Important: Always open CatchMate from the installed home screen icon rather than typing the URL directly. This ensures offline features and session persistence work correctly.
