The Angling Advisor is an AI chat assistant trained on angling knowledge — ask it about rigs, bait, tactics, conditions, and more.

Accessing the Advisor

Open the Advisor from:

The Intelligence tab in the navigation bar
The Home screen quick-access card

Specimen mode

At the top of the Advisor page, select the Specimen pill to switch the Advisor into Specimen mode — optimised for carp, barbel, bream, and tench tactics.

What you can ask

Rig choices and presentations (e.g. "what rig for silty lakebed?")
Bait selection (e.g. "which boilie flavours work in cold water?")
Venue tactics and swim selection
Weather and conditions advice
Seasonal guidance (e.g. "how does tench feeding change in summer?")
Bite time patterns

Conversation memory

The Advisor remembers your conversation within a session — if you return to the page, your history is loaded so you can continue where you left off.

Switching disciplines

Switching between Coarse and Specimen clears the current conversation and starts fresh for the selected discipline. This ensures the Advisor's context stays relevant.

If you're not sure what to ask, the Advisor displays starter questions to get you going. Tap any to use it as your opening message.

What the Advisor doesn't do

The Advisor gives general angling guidance. It does not read your personal session data, catches, or analytics — it works from angling knowledge, not your history.
