Troubleshooting
Photos not appearing
If catch photos aren't showing in the Gallery or on a session, here's what to check.
1. Confirm the photo was saved against the catch
Open the session, find the catch, and tap to open it. If there's no photo on the catch detail, the photo wasn't attached when the catch was logged. Tap the camera icon to add one now.
2. Photo Upload setting must be enabled
Photo attachment is gated by a setting. Go to Profile → App Settings → Session Features and make sure Photo Upload is enabled.
3. Photos may still be uploading
If you logged the catch offline, the photo is queued and uploads automatically when you reconnect. The sync banner at the top of the screen shows how many uploads are pending.
4. Browser permission
CatchMate needs permission to access your phone's camera and photo library. If permission was denied, photo attachment will silently fail. On iPhone: Settings → Safari → Camera / Photos → Allow. On Android: Settings → Apps → CatchMate → Permissions → Camera / Photos → Allow.
5. Storage full
If your phone storage is critically low, the operating system may block photo capture. Free up space and try again.
